Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Las Vegas Shipyards is owned by Shawn P. O'Halloran who has twenty-two years experience in scale model building.  Shawn is originally from Upstate New York (Rochester and Syracuse) and has lived in Las Vegas for seven years. Working with Shawn is his brother Kevin who himself has 12 years scale model building experience.

Shawn is a huge Sci-Fi fan and in particular a Star Trek devotee and focuses most of his modeling efforts on Trek kits. 

Kevin is also a huge fan of Star Trek and Sci Fi (particularly the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica Series) but his greatest love is history and WWII.

Both craftsman also have experience in auto kits as well as prop and resin kits.

We have several contacts within the local modeling community as well as the national modeling community that we are able to work with to acquire the rarest kits, the highest quality aftermarket parts and decals.

Shawn and his wife Marilyn have two children, Hailey age 3 and Harrison age 1.
